Jewel Imaging Blog bio picture
  • Hello. Welcome to my blog!

Please check out our new fine art photography and graphic design business!

This blog is no longer active but it is a great chronicle through my initial first few years as a photographer. The blog started while I was at photography school in Massachusetts, covers my time working in Florida and Georgia, and chronicles our recent 6 month adventure working with orphans in Thailand. Thanks for visiting!

Self, Jen, and Violins

Hello everyone! Here are some things I’ve been working on the past couple of weeks. Please click on the individual images to view them in a larger size.
Phase II Self Portrait (thank you for your help with shooting this Jason!). Balance:

My lovely friend Jennifer, Advanced Lighting class:

Shortly after break I had the opportunity to visit Brattleboro, Vermont to photograph world-renowned violin maker Douglas Cox. It was a pleasure becoming aquatinted with him and his work. He even lent me one of his violins to photograph in the studio. I used the first image of him as my Phase II formal environmental portrait.

I went to Boston this past weekend. I’ll share some images from the trip soon!

First Post: Christmas Break

Hi there! I created this blog as a convenient way to share my photos. I plan on updating it frequently, so make sure to check back soon! Here are some images I shot recently while I was in Oregon for Christmas break. Some of them were for school assignments and others were for fun. I’m back in Massachusetts now; photos from the first week back coming soon.
