  • Hello. Welcome to my blog!

Please check out our new fine art photography and graphic design business!

This blog is no longer active but it is a great chronicle through my initial first few years as a photographer. The blog started while I was at photography school in Massachusetts, covers my time working in Florida and Georgia, and chronicles our recent 6 month adventure working with orphans in Thailand. Thanks for visiting!

Bad Blogger

I’ve been a bad blogger! This time however, I do have an excuse. As some of you already know, I have been recovering from a surgery that took place at the very beginning of the month. I won’t lie; it has been a far from enjoyable experience, but I’m doing alright and am gradually becoming more mobile and active. I have a couple more weeks left until “full recovery,” so I will be relaxing and enjoying the holidays with loved ones (hooray!) before getting back to my freelance work (I can’t wait!). I have some photo-shoots coming up that I’m really looking forward to. Makes me wonder how many people can’t wait to return to work after a hiatus and reminds me of how blessed I am to be doing something I love.

Right before my surgery, my boyfriend and I spent Thanksgiving at Disney World! It was the first time I’d ever been to Orlando. Our 3 days there were pretty magical, ridiculously fun, and also a bit surreal. This pretty much sums it up:

(a caricature one of the talented Disney employees did in the hotel lobby… in less than five minutes…!)

A quick reminder to those of you in the Florida Keys: I am permanently relocating in mid-January. I still have some availability for portrait sessions December 27th-January 15th. If you’re interested, please contact me as soon as possible to request pricing information or to book a portrait session.
