Intimate Tybee Island Wedding – a few frames

Hello, friends! Here are a few of my favorite frames from an intimate beach wedding I photographed last Sunday on Tybee Island. It was my first time working with Tybee Island Wedding and I’m very excited that I will be shooting with them more in the future.

This couple was radiating genuine love and warmth during every second of their celebration, even through a strong and constant ocean wind. They laughed a lot, sharing that laughter has been one of the very best things for their relationship. I can never get over how lucky I am to be a part of such joy.

I have a big weekend/week coming up (engagement session, second shooting weddings and a day after session, Photoshop World in Orlando, etc.!). I’m sure I will have a lot to share in my upcoming posts. Love and peace!

Pam and Pat: Savannah Georgia Destination Wedding

Diana of Diana Daley Photographers is a photographer who has been in the wedding photography industry for over a decade. I’ve been able to second shoot with her a few times. Diana submitted this winter wedding and it was featured on Lucy Dylan Weddings blog a few days ago! The feature has fun stories about the couple and lots of photos. The ceremony was held at the Whitefield Chapel on the Bethesda School for Boys campus. The preparations and reception took place at the Mansion on Forsyth. The florals were provided by Garden on the Square and the cake by Two Cakes.

Here are some of my favorite photographs that I took throughout the day. I hope you enjoy scrolling through the images or watching the slideshow at the bottom of the post. Love and peace!

sunshine and knowledge

These photos are from a recent visit to a local bamboo farm. I hope these photos make you feel warm and happy, especially those of you in parts of the world where Spring has not yet sprung.

Besides working in Savannah, I’ll be putting more miles on my Volvo this month while traveling to Atlanta, Charleston, and Orlando. I’m attending the The Power of Passion Tour in Atlanta with internationally respected photographers Sandy Puc and Jerry Ghionis. I will also be shooting in Charleston and attending a 3-day conference in Orlando. I think that continuing education is absolutely crucial to the success of creative professionals, including photographers. In this industry technology and trends change very quickly and we need to be experts. Excellence is a constant journey.
